Eigenfactor Recommends™

By uncovering the hierarchical structure of scholarly citation, we can identify key papers pertaining to any search query. For a reader new to the field we can find the classic and foundational papers; for an expert we can find the latest innovations.

To start exploring the 1,748,401 articles, enter a search term. By default, the search engine will search for an author by surname, but you can also search by articleid, title or author. The search results are listed in order of importance.

Click on any article (target) title to display recommendations. The bright green headings for each of the recommendations indicates the recommendation is not found in the reference list of the target paper. If the heading is grey, the paper is found in the reference list of the target paper.

If the recommendation is blank, there is no recommendation for the target paper given the citation network analyzed.
